A visit to up Table Mountain is one of my top ten favourites, you can either take the cable car for +- 10€ or for the energetic, hiking is a great way to explore and enjoy the fauna and flaura of this magical beacon.

Just a few words of advice: Wear comfortable shoes, take enough water, try to schedule this for early in the morning because it can get extremely hot, and take something warm for the temperature at the top can get chilly (even in Summer).

Also be aware that there are snakes, especially the Pofadder, which is a very dangerous and common snake in this region.

And lastly, crime is still a problem in SA, so be aware and stay safe, it is always better to hike in a group.
